  1. 너희 하나님이 가라사대 너희는 慰勞(위로)하라 내 百姓(백성)을 慰勞(위로)하라
  2. 너희는 情(정)다이 예루살렘에 말하며 그것에게 외쳐 告(고)하라 그 服役(복역)의 때가 끝났고 그 罪惡(죄악)의 赦(사)함을 입었느니라 그 모든 罪(죄)를 因(인)하여 여호와의 손에서 倍(배)나 받았느니라 할지니라
  3. 외치는 者(자)의 소리여 가로되 너희는 曠野(광야)에서 여호와의 길을 豫備(예비)하라 沙漠(사막)에서 우리 하나님의 大路(대로)를 平坦(평탄)케 하라
  4. 골짜기마다 돋우어지며 山(산)마다 작은 山(산)마다 낮아지며 고르지 않은 곳이 平坦(평탄)케 되며 險(험)한 곳이 平地(평지)가 될 것이요
  5. 여호와의 榮光(영광)이 나타나고 모든 肉體(육체)가 그것을 함께 보리라 大抵(대저) 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라

  1. Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
  2. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.
  3. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
  4. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
  5. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
  1. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
  2. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD'S hand double for all her sins.
  3. A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.
  4. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
  5. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

  2. 풀은 마르고 꽃은 시듦은 여호와의 氣運(기운)이 그 위에 붊이라 이 百姓(백성)은 實(실)로 풀이로다
  3. 풀은 마르고 꽃은 시드나 우리 하나님의 말씀은 永永(영영)히 서리라 하라
  4. 아름다운 消息(소식)을 시온에 傳(전)하는 者(자)여 너는 높은 山(산)에 오르라 아름다운 消息(소식)을 예루살렘에 傳(전)하는 者(자)여 너는 힘써 소리를 높이라 두려워 말고 소리를 높여 유다의 城邑(성읍)들에 이르기를 너희 하나님을 보라 하라
  5. 보라, 主(주) 여호와께서 將次(장차) 强(강)한 者(자)로 臨(임)하실 것이요 親(친)히 그 팔로 다스리실 것이라 보라, 賞給(상급)이 그에게 있고 報應(보응)이 그 앞에 있으며

  1. The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
  2. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
  3. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
  4. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
  5. Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
  1. A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.
  2. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass.
  3. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
  4. You who bring good tidings to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!"
  5. See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.

  2. 누가 손바닥으로 바다 물을 헤아렸으며 뼘으로 하늘을 재었으며 땅의 티끌을 되에 담아 보았으며 皿稱(명칭)으로 山(산)들을, 桿稱(간칭)으로 작은 山(산)들을 달아 보았으랴
  3. 누가 여호와의 神(신)을 指導(지도)하였으며 그의 謀士(모사)가 되어 그를 가르쳤으랴
  4. 그가 누구로 더불어 議論(의논)하셨으며 누가 그를 敎訓(교훈)하였으며 그에게 公平(공평)의 道(도)로 가르쳤으며 知識(지식)을 가르쳤으며 通達(통달)의 道(도)를 보여주었느뇨
  5. 보라, 그에게는 列邦(열방)은 桶(통)의 한 방울 물 같고 저울의 적은 티끌 같으며 섬들은 떠오르는 먼지 같으니

  1. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
  2. Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
  3. Who hath directed the spirit of the Lord, or being his counseller hath taught him?
  4. With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
  5. Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
  1. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.
  2. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?
  3. Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor?
  4. Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding?
  5. Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
  1. 레바논 짐승들은 燔祭(번제) 所用(소용)에도 不足(부족)하겠고 그 森林(삼림)은 그 火木(화목) 所用(소용)에도 不足(부족)할 것이라
  2. 그 앞에는 모든 列邦(열방)이 아무 것도 아니라 그는 그들을 없는 것 같이, 빈 것 같이 여기시느니라
  3. 그런즉 너희가 하나님을 누구와 같다 하겠으며 무슨 形像(형상)에 비기겠느냐
  4. 偶像(우상)은 匠人(장인)이 부어 만들었고 匠色(장색)이 金(금)으로 입혔고 또 爲(위)하여 銀(은)사슬을 만든 것이니라
  5. 窮乏(궁핍)하여 이런 것을 드리지 못하는 者(자)는 썩지 않는 나무를 擇(택)하고 工巧(공교)한 匠人(장인)을 求(구)하여 偶像(우상)을 만들어서 흔들리지 않도록 세우느니라

  1. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
  2. All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
  3. To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
  4. The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.
  5. He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
  1. Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings.
  2. Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.
  3. To whom, then, will you compare God? What image will you compare him to?
  4. As for an idol, a craftsman casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and fashions silver chains for it.
  5. A man too poor to present such an offering selects wood that will not rot. He looks for a skilled craftsman to set up an idol that will not topple.
  1. 너희가 알지 못하였느냐 너희가 듣지 못하였느냐 太初(태초)부터 너희에게 傳(전)하지 아니하였느냐 땅의 基礎(기초)가 創造(창조)될 때부터 너희가 깨닫지 못하였느냐
  2. 그는 땅 위 穹蒼(궁창)에 앉으시나니 땅의 居民(거민)들은 메뚜기 같으니라 그가 하늘을 遮日(차일) 같이 펴셨으며 居(거)할 天幕(천막) 같이 베푸셨고
  3. 貴人(귀인)들을 廢(폐)하시며 世上(세상)의 士師(사사)들을 헛되게 하시나니
  4. 그들은 겨우 심기웠고 겨우 뿌리웠고 그 줄기가 겨우 땅에 뿌리를 박자 곧 하나님의 부심을 받고 말라 회리바람에 불려가는 草芥(초개) 같도다
  5. 거룩하신 者(자)가 가라사대 그런즉 너희가 나를 누구에게 비기며 나로 그와 同等(동등)이 되게 하겠느냐 하시느니라

  1. Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
  2. It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
  3. That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
  4. Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
  5. To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
  1. Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
  2. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
  3. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
  4. No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.
  5. "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
  1. 너희는 눈을 높이 들어 누가 이 모든 것을 創造(창조)하였나보라 主(주)께서는 數爻(수효)대로 萬象(만상)을 이끌어 내시고 各各(각각) 그 이름을 부르시나니 그의 權勢(권세)가 크고 그의 能力(능력)이 强(강)하므로 하나도 빠짐이 없느니라
  2. 야곱아, 네가 어찌하여 말하며 이스라엘아 네가 어찌하여 이르기를 내 事情(사정)은 여호와께 숨겨졌으며 寃痛(원통)한 것은 내 하나님에게서 受理(수리)하심을 받지 못한다 하느냐
  3. 너는 알지 못하였느냐 듣지 못하였느냐 永遠(영원)하신 하나님 여호와 땅 끝까지 創造(창조)하신 者(자)는 疲困(피곤)치 아니하시며 困憊(곤비)치 아니하시며 明哲(명철)이 限(한)이 없으시며
  4. 疲困(피곤)한 者(자)에게는 能力(능력)을 주시며 無能(무능)한 者(자)에게는 힘을 더하시나니
  5. 少年(소년)이라도 疲困(피곤)하며 困憊(곤비)하며 壯丁(장정)이라도 넘어지며 자빠지되

  1. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
  2. Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
  3. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
  4. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
  5. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
  1. Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
  2. Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God"?
  3. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
  4. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
  5. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
  1. 오직 여호와를 仰望(앙망)하는 者(자)는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리의 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요 달음박질하여도 困憊(곤비)치 아니하겠고 걸어가도 疲困(피곤)치 아니하리로다

  1. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
  1. but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
