  1. 이새의 줄기에서 한 싹이 나며 그 뿌리에서 한 가지가 나서 結實(결실)할 것이요
  2. 여호와의 神(신) 곧 智慧(지혜)와 聰明(총명)의 神(신)이요 謀略(모략)과 才能(재능)의 神(신)이요 知識(지식)과 여호와를 敬畏(경외)하는 神(신)이 그 위에 降臨(강림)하시리니
  3. 그가 여호와를 敬畏(경외)함으로 즐거움을 삼을 것이며 그 눈에 보이는대로 審判(심판)치 아니하며 귀에 들리는 대로 判斷(판단)치 아니하며
  4. 公義(공의)로 貧乏(빈핍)한 者(자)를 審判(심판)하며 正直(정직)으로 世上(세상)의 謙遜(겸손)한 者(자)를 判斷(판단)할 것이며 그 입의 막대기로 世上(세상)을 치며 입술의 氣運(기운)으로 惡人(악인)을 죽일 것이며
  5. 公義(공의)로 그 허리띠를 삼으며 誠實(성실)로 몸의 띠를 삼으리라

  1. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
  2. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
  3. And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
  4. But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
  5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
  1. A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
  2. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him--the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD--
  3. and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;
  4. but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
  5. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.
  1. 그 때에 이리가 어린 羊(양)과 함께 居(거)하며 표범이 어린 염소와 함께 누우며 송아지와 어린 獅子(사자)와 살진 짐승이 함께 있어 어린 아이에게 끌리며
  2. 암소와 곰이 함께 먹으며 그것들의 새끼가 함께 엎드리며 獅子(사자)가 소처럼 풀을 먹을 것이며
  3. 젖먹는 아이가 毒蛇(독사)의 구멍에서 장난하며 젖뗀 어린 아이가 毒蛇(독사)의 窟(굴)에 손을 넣을 것이라
  4. 나의 거룩한 山(산) 모든 곳에서 害(해)됨도 없고 傷(상)함도 없을 것이니 이는 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와를 아는 知識(지식)이 世上(세상)에 充滿(충만)할 것임이니라
  5. 그 날에 이새의 뿌리에서 한 싹이 나서 萬民(만민)의 旗號(기호)로 설 것이요 列邦(열방)이 그에게로 돌아오리니 그 居(거)한 곳이 榮華(영화)로우리라

  1. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
  2. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
  3. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
  4. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
  5. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
  1. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.
  2. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
  3. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.
  4. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
  5. In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious.
  1. 그 날에 主(주)께서 다시 손을 펴사 그 남은 百姓(백성)을 앗수르와 애굽과 바드로스와 구스와 엘람과 시날과 하맛과 바다 섬들에서 돌아오게 하실 것이라
  2. 여호와께서 列邦(열방)을 向(향)하여 旗號(기호)를 세우시고 이스라엘의 쫓긴 者(자)를 모으시며 땅 四方(사방)에서 유다의 離散(이산)한 者(자)를 모으시리니
  3. 에브라임의 妬忌(투기)는 없어지고 유다를 괴롭게 하던 者(자)는 끊어지며 에브라임은 유다를 妬忌(투기)하지 아니하며 유다는 에브라임을 괴롭게하지 아니할 것이요
  4. 그들이 西(서)으로 블레셋 사람의 어깨에 날아 앉고 함께 東方(동방) 百姓(백성)을 擄略(노략)하며 에돔과 모압에 손을 대며 암몬 子孫(자손)을 自己(자기)에게 服從(복종)시키시리라
  5. 여호와께서 애굽 海股(해고)를 말리우시고 손을 유브라데 河水(하수) 위에 흔들어 뜨거운 바람을 일으켜서 그 河水(하수)를 쳐서 일곱 갈래로 나눠 신 신고 건너가게 하실 것이라

  1. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
  2. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
  3. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
  4. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
  5. And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
  1. In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.
  2. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.
  3. Ephraim's jealousy will vanish, and Judah's enemies will be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, nor Judah hostile toward Ephraim.
  4. They will swoop down on the slopes of Philistia to the west; together they will plunder the people to the east. They will lay hands on Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them.
  5. The LORD will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that men can cross over in sandals.
