  1. 하나님의 神(신)이 오뎃의 아들 아사랴에게 臨(임)하시매
  2. 저가 나가서 아사를 맞아 이르되 아사와 및 유다와 베냐민의 무리들아 내 말을 들으라 너희가 여호와와 함께하면 여호와께서 너희와 함께하실지라 너희가 萬一(만일) 저를 찾으면 저가 너희의 만난바 되시려니와 너희가 萬一(만일) 저를 버리면 저도 너희를 버리시리라
  3. 이스라엘에는 참 神(신)이 없고 가르치는 祭司長(제사장)도 없고 律法(률법)도 없은지가 이제 오래였으나
  4. 그 患難(환난) 때에 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께 돌아가서 찾으매 저가 그들의 만난 바가 되셨나니
  5. 그 때에 列國(렬국)에 居(거)한 모든 百姓(백성)이 크게 擾亂(요란)하여 사람의 出入(출입)이 平安(평안)치 못하며

  1. And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:
  2. And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; the Lord is with you, while ye be with Him; and if ye seek Him, He will be found of you; but if ye forsake Him, He will forsake you.
  3. Now for a long season Israel hath been without the TRUE God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
  4. But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found of them.
  5. And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
  1. The Spirit of God came upon Azariah son of Oded.
  2. He went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
  3. For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law.
  4. But in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them.
  5. In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil.
  1. 이 나라가 저 나라와 서로 치고 이 城邑(성읍)이 저 城邑(성읍)과 또한 그러하여 彼此(피차) 傷(상)한 바 되었나니 이는 하나님이 모든 苦難(고난)으로 擾亂(요란)케 하셨음이니라
  2. 그런즉 너희는 强(강)하게 하라 손이 弱(약)하지 않게 하라 너희 行爲(행위)에는 賞給(상급)이 있음이니라
  3. 아사가 이 말 곧 先知者(선지자) 오뎃의 豫言(예언)을 듣고 마음을 强(강)하게 하여 可憎(가증)한 物件(물건)을 유다와 베냐민 온 땅에서 除(제)하고 또 에브라임 山地(산지)에서 빼앗은 城邑(성읍)들에서 除(제)하고 또 여호와의 廊室(낭실) 앞 여호와의 壇(단)을 重數(중수)하고
  4. 또 유다와 베냐민의 무리를 모으고 에브라임과 므낫세와 시므온 가운데서 나와서 저희 中(중)에 寓居(우거)하는 者(자)를 모았으니 이는 이스라엘 사람들이 아사의 하나님 여호와께서 그와 함께하심을 보고 아사에게로 돌아오는 者(자)가 많았음이더라
  5. 아사王(왕) 十五年(십오년) 三月(삼월)에 저희가 예루살렘에 모이고

  1. And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
  2. Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
  3. And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.
  4. And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.
  5. So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.
  1. One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress.
  2. But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."
  3. When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD'S temple.
  4. Then he assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.
  5. They assembled at Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa's reign.
  1. 그 날에 擄略(노략)하여 온 物件(물건) 中(중)에서 소 七百(칠백)과 羊(양) 七千(칠천)으로 여호와께 祭祀(제사)를 드리고
  2. 또 마음을 다하고 性稟(성품)을 다하여 列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와를 찾기로 言約(언약)하고
  3. 무릇 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 찾지 아니하는 者(자)는 大小(대소) 男女(남녀)를 無論(무론)하고 죽이는 것이 마땅하다 하고
  4. 무리가 큰 소리로 부르며 피리와 나팔을 불어 여호와께 盟誓(맹서)하매
  5. 온 유다가 이 盟誓(맹서)를 기뻐한지라 무리가 마음을 다하여 盟誓(맹서)하고 뜻을 다하여 여호와를 찾았으므로 여호와께서도 저희의 만난 바가 되시고 그 四方(사방)에 平安(평안)을 주셨더라

  1. And they offered unto the Lord the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.
  2. And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
  3. That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
  4. And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
  5. And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire; and He was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.
  1. At that time they sacrificed to the LORD seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep and goats from the plunder they had brought back.
  2. They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul.
  3. All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.
  4. They took an oath to the LORD with loud acclamation, with shouting and with trumpets and horns.
  5. All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the LORD gave them rest on every side.
  1. 아사 王(왕)의 母親(모친) 마아가가 아세라의 可憎(가증)한 木像(목상)을 만들었으므로 아사가 그 太后(태후)의 位(위)를 廢(폐)하고 그 偶像(우상)을 찍고 빻아 기드론 시냇가에서 불살랐으니
  2. 山堂(산당)은 이스라엘 中(중)에서 除(제)하지 아니하였으나 아사의 마음이 一平生(일평생) 穩全(온전)하였더라
  3. 저가 또 그 父親(부친)의 區別(구별)한 物件(물건)과 自己(자기)의 區別(구별)한 物件(물건) 곧 銀(은)과 金(금)과 器皿(기명)들을 하나님의 殿(전)에 드렸더니
  4. 이 때부터 아사 王(왕) 三十五年(삼십오년)까지 다시는 戰爭(전쟁)이 없으니라

  1. And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
  2. But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.
  3. And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.
  4. And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.
  1. King Asa also deposed his grandmother Maacah from her position as queen mother, because she had made a repulsive Asherah pole. Asa cut the pole down, broke it up and burned it in the Kidron Valley.
  2. Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa's heart was fully committed to the LORD all his life.
  3. He brought into the temple of God the silver and gold and the articles that he and his father had dedicated.
  4. There was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa's reign.
