  1. 욥이 對答(대답)하여 가로되
  2. 이런 말은 내가 많이 들었나니 너희는 다 煩惱(번뇌)케 하는 安慰者(안위자)로구나
  3. 虛妄(허망)한 말이 어찌 끝이 있으랴 네가 무엇에 激動(격동)되어 이같이 對答(대답)하는고
  4. 나도 너희처럼 말할 수 있나니 假令(가령) 너희 마음이 내 마음 자리에 있다 하자 나도 말을 지어 너희를 치며 너희를 向(향)하여 머리를 흔들 수 있느니라
  5. 그래도 입으로 너희를 强(강)하게 하며 입술의 慰勞(위로)로 너희의 근심을 풀었으리라

  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
  3. Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?
  4. I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
  5. But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
  1. Then Job replied:
  2. "I have heard many things like these; miserable comforters are you all!
  3. Will your long-winded speeches never end? What ails you that you keep on arguing?
  4. I also could speak like you, if you were in my place; I could make fine speeches against you and shake my head at you.
  5. But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief.
  1. 내가 말하여도 내 근심이 풀리지 아니하나니 潛潛(잠잠)한들 어찌 平安(평안)하랴
  2. 이제 主(주)께서 나를 困苦(곤고)케 하시고 나의 무리를 悖乖(패괴)케 하셨나이다
  3. 主(주)께서 나를 시들게 하셨으니 이는 나를 向(향)하여 證據(증거)를 삼으심이라 나의 파리한 模樣(모양)이 일어나서 對面(대면)하여 나의 罪(죄)를 證據(증거)하나이다
  4. 그는 震怒(진노)하사 나를 찢고 窘迫(군박)하시며 나를 向(향)하여 이를 갈고 對敵(대적)이 되어 뾰족한 눈으로 나를 보시고
  5. 무리들은 나를 向(향)하여 입을 벌리며 나를 賤待(천대)하여 뺨을 치며 함께 모여 나를 對敵(대적)하는구나

  1. Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
  2. But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
  3. And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
  4. He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
  5. They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me.
  1. "Yet if I speak, my pain is not relieved; and if I refrain, it does not go away.
  2. Surely, O God, you have worn me out; you have devastated my entire household.
  3. You have bound me--and it has become a witness; my gauntness rises up and testifies against me.
  4. God assails me and tears me in his anger and gnashes his teeth at me; my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes.
  5. Men open their mouths to jeer at me; they strike my cheek in scorn and unite together against me.
  1. 하나님이 나를 敬虔(경건)치 않은 者(자)에게 붙이시며 惡人(악인)의 손에 던지셨구나
  2. 내가 平安(평안)하더니 그가 나를 꺾으시며 내 목을 잡아던져 나를 부숴뜨리시며 나를 세워 과녁을 삼으시고
  3. 그 살로 나를 四方(사방)으로 쏘아 人情(인정)없이 내 허리를 뚫고 내 쓸개로 땅에 흘러나오게 하시는구나
  4. 그가 나를 꺾고 다시 꺾고 勇士(용사)같이 내게 달려드시니
  5. 내가 굵은 베를 꿰어매어 내 皮膚(피부)에 덮고 내 뿔을 티끌에 더럽혔구나

  1. God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
  2. I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
  3. His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
  4. He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
  5. I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
  1. God has turned me over to evil men and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked.
  2. All was well with me, but he shattered me; he seized me by the neck and crushed me. He has made me his target;
  3. his archers surround me. Without pity, he pierces my kidneys and spills my gall on the ground.
  4. Again and again he bursts upon me; he rushes at me like a warrior.
  5. "I have sewed sackcloth over my skin and buried my brow in the dust.
  1. 내 얼굴은 울음으로 붉었고 내 눈꺼풀에는 죽음의 그늘이 있구나
  2. 그러나 내 손에는 暴虐(포학)이 없고 나의 祈禱(기도)는 淨潔(정결)하니라
  3. 땅아 내 피를 가리우지 말라 나의 부르짖음으로 쉴 곳이 없게 되기를 願(원)하노라
  4. 지금 나의 證人(증인)이 하늘에 계시고 나의 保人(보인)이 높은데 계시니라
  5. 나의 親舊(친구)는 나를 嘲弄(조롱)하나 내 눈은 하나님을 向(향)하여 눈물을 흘리고

  1. My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
  2. Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.
  3. O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.
  4. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.
  5. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
  1. My face is red with weeping, deep shadows ring my eyes;
  2. yet my hands have been free of violence and my prayer is pure.
  3. "O earth, do not cover my blood; may my cry never be laid to rest!
  4. Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high.
  5. My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God;
  1. 사람과 하나님 사이에와 人子(인자)와 그 이웃 사이에 辨白(변백)하시기를 願(원)하노니
  2. 數年(수년)이 지나면 나는 돌아오지 못할 길로 갈 것임이니라

  1. O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!
  2. When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
  1. on behalf of a man he pleads with God as a man pleads for his friend.
  2. "Only a few years will pass before I go on the journey of no return.
