  1. 엘리후가 말을 이어 가로되
  2. 智慧(지혜) 있는 者(자)들아, 내 말을 들으며 知識(지식) 있는 者(자)들아 내게 귀를 기울이라
  3. 입이 植物(식물)의 맛을 辨別(변별)함 같이 귀가 말을 分別(분별)하나니
  4. 우리가 스스로 옳은 것은 擇(택)하고 무엇이 善(선)한가 우리끼리 알아보자
  5. 욥이 말하기를 내가 義(의)로우나 하나님이 내 義(의)를 除(제)하셨고

  1. Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
  2. Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
  3. For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
  4. Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
  5. For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
  1. Then Elihu said:
  2. "Hear my words, you wise men; listen to me, you men of learning.
  3. For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food.
  4. Let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
  5. "Job says, 'I am innocent, but God denies me justice.
  1. 내가 正直(정직)하나 거짓말장이가 되었고 나는 허물이 없으나 내 傷處(상처)가 낫지 못하게 되었노라 하니
  2. 어느 사람이 욥과 같으랴 욥이 毁謗(훼방)하기를 물마시듯 하며
  3. 惡(악)한 일을 하는 者(자)들과 사귀며 惡人(악인)과 함께 다니면서
  4. 이르기를 사람이 하나님을 기뻐하나 無益(무익)하다 하는구나
  5. 그러므로 너희 聰明(총명)한 者(자)들아 내 말을 들으라 하나님은 斷定(단정)코 惡(악)을 行(행)치 아니하시며 全能者(전능자)는 斷定(단정)코 不義(불의)를 行(행)치 아니하시고

  1. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
  2. What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
  3. Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
  4. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
  5. Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
  1. Although I am right, I am considered a liar; although I am guiltless, his arrow inflicts an incurable wound.'
  2. What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water?
  3. He keeps company with evildoers; he associates with wicked men.
  4. For he says, 'It profits a man nothing when he tries to please God.'
  5. "So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, from the Almighty to do wrong.
  1. 사람의 일을 따라 報應(보응)하사 各各(각각) 그 行爲(행위)대로 얻게 하시나니
  2. 眞實(진실)로 하나님은 惡(악)을 行(행)치 아니하시며 全能者(전능자)는 公義(공의)를 굽히지 아니하시느니라
  3. 누가 땅을 그에게 맡겼느냐 누가 온 世界(세계)를 定(정)하였느냐
  4. 그가 萬一(만일) 自己(자기)만 생각하시고 그 神(신)과 氣運(기운)을 거두실진대
  5. 모든 血氣(혈기) 있는 者(자)가 一體(일체)로 亡(망)하고 사람도 塵土(진토)로 돌아가리라

  1. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
  2. Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
  3. Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
  4. If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
  5. All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
  1. He repays a man for what he has done; he brings upon him what his conduct deserves.
  2. It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.
  3. Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world?
  4. If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath,
  5. all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust.
  1. 萬一(만일) 聰明(총명)이 있거든 이것을 들으며 내 말소리에 귀를 기울이라
  2. 公義(공의)를 미워하는 者(자)시면 어찌 治理(치리)하시겠느냐 義(의)롭고 全能(전능)하신 者(자)를 네가 定罪(정죄)하겠느냐
  3. 그는 王(왕)에게라도 鄙陋(비루)하다 하시며 貴人(귀인)들에게라도 惡(악)하다 하시며
  4. 王族(왕족)을 外貌(외모)로 取(취)치 아니하시며 富者(부자)를 가난한 者(자)보다 더 생각하지 아니하시나니 이는 그들이 다 그의 손으로 지으신 바가 됨이니라
  5. 그들은 밤中(중) 瞬息間(순식간)에 죽나니 百姓(백성)은 떨며 없어지고 勢力(세력)있는 者(자)도 사람의 손을 대지 않고 除(제)함을 當(당)하느니라

  1. If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
  2. Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
  3. Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
  4. How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
  5. In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
  1. "If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say.
  2. Can he who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One?
  3. Is he not the One who says to kings, 'You are worthless,' and to nobles, 'You are wicked,'
  4. who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?
  5. They die in an instant, in the middle of the night; the people are shaken and they pass away; the mighty are removed without human hand.
  1. 하나님은 사람의 길을 注目(주목)하시며 사람의 모든 걸음을 監察(감찰)하시나니
  2. 惡(악)을 行(행)한 者(자)는 숨을 만한 黑暗(흑암)이나 어두운 그늘이 없느니라
  3. 하나님은 사람을 審判(심판)하시기에 오래 생각하실 것이 없으시니
  4. 勢力(세력)있는 者(자)를 調査(조사)할 것 없이 꺾으시고 다른 사람을 세워 그를 代身(대신)하게 하시느니라
  5. 이와 같이 그들의 行爲(행위)를 아시고 그들을 밤 사이에 엎으신즉 滅亡(멸망)하나니

  1. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
  2. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
  3. For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
  4. He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
  5. Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
  1. "His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step.
  2. There is no dark place, no deep shadow, where evildoers can hide.
  3. God has no need to examine men further, that they should come before him for judgment.
  4. Without inquiry he shatters the mighty and sets up others in their place.
  5. Because he takes note of their deeds, he overthrows them in the night and they are crushed.
  1. 그들을 惡(악)한 者(자)로 여겨 사람의 目前(목전)에서 치심은
  2. 그들이 그를 떠나고 그의 모든 길을 無關(무관)히 여김이라
  3. 그들이 이와 같이 하여 가난한 者(자)의 부르짖음이 그에게 上達(상달)케하며 患難(환난) 받는 者(자)의 부르짖음이 그에게 들리게 하느니라
  4. 主(주)께서 사람에게 平康(평강)을 주실 때에 누가 敢(감)히 잘못하신다 하겠느냐 主(주)께서 自己(자기) 얼굴을 가리우실 때에 누가 敢(감)히 뵈올 수 있으랴 나라에게나 사람에게나 一般(일반)이시니
  5. 이는 邪慝(사특)한 者(자)로 權勢(권세)를 잡아 百姓(백성)을 陷害(함해)하지 못하게 하려 하심이니라

  1. He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
  2. Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
  3. So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
  4. When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
  5. That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
  1. He punishes them for their wickedness where everyone can see them,
  2. because they turned from following him and had no regard for any of his ways.
  3. They caused the cry of the poor to come before him, so that he heard the cry of the needy.
  4. But if he remains silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can see him? Yet he is over man and nation alike,
  5. to keep a godless man from ruling, from laying snares for the people.
  1. 누가 하나님께 아뢰기를 내가 懲戒(징계)를 받았사오니 다시는 犯罪(범죄)치 아니하겠나이다
  2. 나의 깨닫지 못하는 것을 내게 가르치소서 내가 惡(악)을 行(행)하였으면 다시는 아니하겠나이다 한 者(자)가 있느냐
  3. 하나님이 네 뜻대로 갚으셔야 하겠다고 네가 그것을 싫어하느냐 그러면 네가 스스로 擇(택)할 것이요 내가 할 것이 아니니 너는 아는대로 말하라
  4. 聰明(총명)한 者(자)와 내 말을 듣는 모든 智慧(지혜) 있는 者(자)가 必然(필연) 내게 이르기를
  5. 욥이 無識(무식)하게 말하니 그 말이 智慧(지혜) 없다 하리라

  1. Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
  2. That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
  3. Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
  4. Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
  5. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
  1. "Suppose a man says to God, 'I am guilty but will offend no more.
  2. Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.'
  3. Should God then reward you on your terms, when you refuse to repent? You must decide, not I; so tell me what you know.
  4. "Men of understanding declare, wise men who hear me say to me,
  5. 'Job speaks without knowledge; his words lack insight.'
  1. 욥이 끝까지 試驗(시험)받기를 내가 願(원)하노니 이는 그 對答(대답)이 惡人(악인)과 같음이라
  2. 그가 그 罪(죄) 위에 悖逆(패역)을 더하며 우리 中(중)에서 손뼉을 치며 하나님을 拒逆(거역)하는 말을 많이 하는구나

  1. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
  2. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
  1. Oh, that Job might be tested to the utmost for answering like a wicked man!
  2. To his sin he adds rebellion; scornfully he claps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God."
