  1. 엘리후가 말을 이어 가로되
  2. 나를 暫間(잠간) 容納(용납)하라 내가 네게 보이리니 이는 내가 하나님을 爲(위)하여 오히려 할 말이 있음이라
  3. 내가 먼 데서 知識(지식)을 取(취)하고 나를 지으신 者(자)에게 義(의)를 돌려 보내리라
  4. 眞實(진실)로 내 말이 거짓이 아니라 知識(지식)이 具備(구비)한 者(자)가 너와 함께 있느니라
  5. 하나님은 全能(전능)하시나 아무도 蔑視(멸시)치 아니하시며 그 知能(지능)이 無窮(무궁)하사

  1. Elihu also proceeded, and said,
  2. Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
  3. I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
  4. For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
  5. Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
  1. Elihu continued:
  2. "Bear with me a little longer and I will show you that there is more to be said in God's behalf.
  3. I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
  4. Be assured that my words are not false; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
  5. "God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose.
  1. 惡人(악인)을 살려 두지 않으시며 苦難(고난) 받는 者(자)를 爲(위)하여 伸寃(신원)하시며
  2. 눈을 義人(의인)에게서 돌이키지 아니하시고 그를 王(왕)과 함께 永遠(영원)히 位(위)에 앉히사 尊貴(존귀)하게 하시며
  3. 或時(혹시) 그들이 누설에 매이거나 患難(환난)의 줄에 얽혔으면
  4. 그들의 所行(소행)과 허물을 보이사 그 驕慢(교만)한 行爲(행위)를 알게 하시고
  5. 그들의 귀를 열어 敎訓(교훈)을 듣게 하시며 命(명)하여 罪惡(죄악)에서 돌아오게 하시나니

  1. He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
  2. He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
  3. And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
  4. Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
  5. He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
  1. He does not keep the wicked alive but gives the afflicted their rights.
  2. He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
  3. But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction,
  4. he tells them what they have done--that they have sinned arrogantly.
  5. He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil.
  1. 萬一(만일) 그들이 聽從(청종)하여 섬기면 亨通(형통)히 날을 보내며 즐거이 해를 지낼 것이요
  2. 萬一(만일) 그들이 聽從(청종)치 아니하면 칼에 亡(망)하며 知識(지식) 없이 죽을 것이니라
  3. 마음이 邪曲(사곡)한 者(자)들은 忿怒(분노)를 쌓으며 하나님께 束縛(속박)을 받을지라도 도우심을 求(구)하지 아니하나니
  4. 그들은 젊어서 죽으며 그 生命(생명)이 男娼(남창)과 함께 亡(망)하려니와
  5. 하나님은 困苦(곤고)한 者(자)를 그 困苦(곤고)할 즈음에 救援(구원)하시며 虐待(학대) 當(당)할 즈음에 그 귀를 여시나니

  1. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
  2. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
  3. But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
  4. They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
  5. He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
  1. If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
  2. But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
  3. "The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when he fetters them, they do not cry for help.
  4. They die in their youth, among male prostitutes of the shrines.
  5. But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction.
  1. 그러므로 하나님이 너를 困苦(곤고)함에서 이끌어 내사 좁지 않고 넓은 곳으로 옮기려 하셨은즉 무릇 네 床(상)에 차린 것은 살진 것이 되었으리라
  2. 이제는 惡人(악인)의 받을 罰(벌)이 네게 가득하였고 審判(심판)과 公義(공의)가 너를 잡았나니
  3. 너는 忿激(분격)함을 因(인)하여 懲責(징책)을 對敵(대적)하지 말라 代贖(대속)함을 얻을 일이 큰즉 스스로 그릇되게 말지니라
  4. 너의 부르짖음이나 너의 勢力(세력)이 어찌 能(능)히 너의 困苦(곤고)한 가운데서 너로 有益(유익)하게 하겠느냐
  5. 너는 밤 곧 人生(인생)이 自己(자기) 곳에서 除(제)함을 받는 때를 思慕(사모)하지 말 것이니라

  1. Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
  2. But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
  3. Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
  4. Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
  5. Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
  1. "He is wooing you from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free from restriction, to the comfort of your table laden with choice food.
  2. But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have taken hold of you.
  3. Be careful that no one entices you by riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.
  4. Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress?
  5. Do not long for the night, to drag people away from their homes.
  1. 삼가 惡(악)으로 치우치지 말라 네가 患難(환난)보다 이것을 擇(택)하였느니라
  2. 하나님은 그 權能(권능)으로 큰 일을 行(행)하시나니 누가 그 같이 敎訓(교훈)을 베풀겠느냐
  3. 누가 그를 爲(위)하여 그의 길을 定(정)하였느냐 누가 말하기를 主(주)께서 不義(불의)를 行(행)하셨나이다 할 수 있으랴
  4. 너는 하나님의 하신 일 讚頌(찬송)하기를 잊지 말지니라 人生(인생)이 그 일을 노래하였느니라
  5. 그 일을 모든 사람이 우러러 보나니 먼데서도 보느니라

  1. Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
  2. Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
  3. Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
  4. Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
  5. Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
  1. Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction.
  2. "God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?
  3. Who has prescribed his ways for him, or said to him, 'You have done wrong'?
  4. Remember to extol his work, which men have praised in song.
  5. All mankind has seen it; men gaze on it from afar.
  1. 하나님은 크시니 우리가 그를 알 수 없고 그 年數(년수)를 計算(계산)할 수 없느니라
  2. 그가 물을 가늘게 이끌어 올리신즉 그것이 안개 되어 비를 이루고
  3. 그것이 空中(공중)에서 내려 사람 위에 쏟아지느니라
  4. 구름의 폐임과 그의 帳幕(장막)의 울리는 소리를 누가 能(능)히 깨달으랴
  5. 그가 번개 빛으로 自己(자기)의 四面(사면)에 두르시며 바다 밑도 가리우시며

  1. Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
  2. For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
  3. Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
  4. Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
  5. Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
  1. How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out.
  2. "He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams;
  3. the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.
  4. Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds, how he thunders from his pavilion?
  5. See how he scatters his lightning about him, bathing the depths of the sea.
  1. 이런 것들로 萬民(만민)을 懲罰(징벌)하시며 이런 것들로 植物(식물)을 豊備(풍비)히 주시느니라
  2. 그는 번개 빛으로 그 두 손을 싸시고 그것을 命(명)하사 푯대를 맞추게 하시나니
  3. 그 울리는 소리가 風雨(풍우)를 表示(표시)하고 六畜(육축)에게까지 그 올라 오는 것을 表示(표시)하느니라

  1. For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
  2. With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
  3. The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
  1. This is the way he governs the nations and provides food in abundance.
  2. He fills his hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
  3. His thunder announces the coming storm; even the cattle make known its approach.
