  1. 산 염소가 새끼 치는 때를 네가 아느냐 암사슴의 새끼 낳을 期限(기한)을 네가 알 수 있느냐
  2. 그것이 몇 달만에 滿朔(만삭)되는지 아느냐 그 낳을 때를 아느냐
  3. 그것들은 몸을 구푸리고 새끼를 낳아 그 괴로움을 지내어 버리며
  4. 그 새끼는 强(강)하여져서 빈 들에서 길리우다가 나가고는 다시 돌아오지 아니하느니라
  5. 누가 들나귀를 놓아 自由(자유)하게 하였느냐 누가 빠른 나귀의 매인 것을 풀었느냐

  1. Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
  2. Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
  3. They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
  4. Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.
  5. Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?
  1. "Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn?
  2. Do you count the months till they bear? Do you know the time they give birth?
  3. They crouch down and bring forth their young; their labor pains are ended.
  4. Their young thrive and grow strong in the wilds; they leave and do not return.
  5. "Who let the wild donkey go free? Who untied his ropes?
  1. 내가 들로 그 집을, 짠 땅으로 그 사는 處所(처소)를 삼았느니라
  2. 들나귀는 城邑(성읍)의 지꺼리는 것을 업신여기니 馭拒(어거)하는 者(자)의 지르는 소리가 그것에게 들리지 아니하며
  3. 草場(초장)이 된 山(산)으로 두루 다니며 여러 가지 푸른 것을 찾느니라
  4. 들소가 어찌 즐겨 네게 服從(복종)하며 네 외양간에 머물겠느냐
  5. 네가 能(능)히 줄로 들소를 매어 이랑을 갈게 하겠느냐 그것이 어찌 골짜기에서 너를 따라 쓰레를 끌겠느냐

  1. Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.
  2. He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.
  3. The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
  4. Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
  5. Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
  1. I gave him the wasteland as his home, the salt flats as his habitat.
  2. He laughs at the commotion in the town; he does not hear a driver's shout.
  3. He ranges the hills for his pasture and searches for any green thing.
  4. "Will the wild ox consent to serve you? Will he stay by your manger at night?
  5. Can you hold him to the furrow with a harness? Will he till the valleys behind you?
  1. 그것의 힘이 많다고 네가 그것을 依支(의지)하겠느냐 네 受苦(수고)하는 일을 그것에게 맡기겠느냐
  2. 그것이 네 穀食(곡식)을 집으로 실어오며 네 打作(타작) 마당에 穀食(곡식) 모으기를 그것에게 依託(의탁)하겠느냐
  3. 駝鳥(타조)는 즐거이 그 날개를 친다마는 그 깃과 털이 仁慈(인자)를 베푸느냐
  4. 그것이 알을 땅에 버려두어 모래에서 더워지게 하고
  5. 발에 깨어질 것이나 들짐승에게 밟힐 것을 생각지 아니하고





  1. Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
  2. Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
  3. Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?
  4. Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
  5. And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
  1. Will you rely on him for his great strength? Will you leave your heavy work to him?
  2. Can you trust him to bring in your grain and gather it to your threshing floor?
  3. "The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, but they cannot compare with the pinions and feathers of the stork.
  4. She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand,
  5. unmindful that a foot may crush them, that some wild animal may trample them.
  1. 새끼에게 無情(무정)함이 제 새끼가 아닌 것처럼 하며 그 구로한 것이 헛되게 될지라도 掛念(괘념)치 아니하나니
  2. 이는 하나님 내가 智慧(지혜)를 稟賦(품부)하지 아니하고 聰明(총명)을 주지 아니함이니라
  3. 그러나 그 몸을 떨쳐 뛰어갈 때에는 말과 그 탄 者(자)를 輕(경)히 여기느니라
  4. 말의 힘을 네가 주었느냐 그 목에 흩날리는 갈기를 네가 입혔느냐
  5. 네가 그것으로 메뚜기처럼 뛰게 하였느냐 그 威嚴(위엄)스러운 콧소리가 두려우니라

  1. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;
  2. Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.
  3. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
  4. Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
  5. Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.
  1. She treats her young harshly, as if they were not hers; she cares not that her labor was in vain,
  2. for God did not endow her with wisdom or give her a share of good sense.
  3. Yet when she spreads her feathers to run, she laughs at horse and rider.
  4. "Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?
  5. Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting?
  1. 그것이 골짜기에서 허위고 힘 있음을 기뻐하며 앞으로 나아가서 軍士(군사)들을 맞되
  2. 두려움을 비웃고 놀라지 아니하며 칼을 當(당)할지라도 물러나지 아니하니
  3. 그 위에서는 箭筒(전통)과 빛난 작은 槍(창)과 큰 槍(창)이 錚錚(쟁쟁)하며
  4. 땅을 삼킬듯이 猛烈(맹렬)히 성내며 나팔 소리를 들으면 머물러 서지 아니하고
  5. 나팔 소리 나는대로 蕭蕭(소소)히 울며 멀리서 싸움 냄새를 맡고 長官(장관)의 號令(호령)과 떠드는 소리를 듣느니라

  1. He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
  2. He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.
  3. The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
  4. He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
  5. He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
  1. He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray.
  2. He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword.
  3. The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance.
  4. In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
  5. At the blast of the trumpet he snorts, 'Aha!' He catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry.
  1. 매가 떠올라서 날개를 펼쳐 南方(남방)으로 向(향)하는 것이 어찌 네 智慧(지혜)로 말미암음이냐
  2. 독수리가 空中(공중)에 떠서 높은 곳에 보금자리를 만드는 것이 어찌 네 命令(명령)을 依支(의지)함이냐
  3. 그것이 낭떠러지에 집을 지으며 뾰족한 바위 끝이나 險峻(험준)한 데 居(거)하며
  4. 거기서 움킬만한 것을 살피나니 그 눈이 멀리 봄이며
  5. 그 새끼들도 피를 빠나니 殺戮(살륙) 當(당)한 者(자) 있는 곳에는 그것도 거기 있느니라

  1. Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
  2. Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
  3. She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
  4. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
  5. Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
  1. "Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom and spread his wings toward the south?
  2. Does the eagle soar at your command and build his nest on high?
  3. He dwells on a cliff and stays there at night; a rocky crag is his stronghold.
  4. From there he seeks out his food; his eyes detect it from afar.
  5. His young ones feast on blood, and where the slain are, there is he."
