  1. 나아마 사람 소발이 對答(대답)하여 가로되
  2. 그러므로 내 생각이 내게 對答(대답)하나니 이는 내 中心(중심)이 焦急(초급)함이니라
  3. 내가 나를 부끄럽게 하는 責望(책망)을 들었으므로 나의 슬기로운 마음이 내게 對答(대답)하는구나
  4. 네가 알지 못하느냐 예로부터 사람이 이 世上(세상)에 있어 옴으로
  5. 惡人(악인)의 이기는 자랑도 暫時(잠시)요, 邪曲(사곡)한 者(자)의 즐거움도 暫間(잠간)이니라

  1. Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
  2. Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
  3. I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
  4. Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
  5. That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
  1. Then Zophar the Naamathite replied:
  2. "My troubled thoughts prompt me to answer because I am greatly disturbed.
  3. I hear a rebuke that dishonors me, and my understanding inspires me to reply.
  4. "Surely you know how it has been from of old, ever since man was placed on the earth,
  5. that the mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment.
  1. 그 높기가 하늘에 닿고 그 머리가 구름에 미칠지라도
  2. 自己(자기)의 똥처럼 永遠(영원)히 亡(망)할 것이라 그를 본 者(자)가 이르기를 그가 어디 있느냐 하리라
  3. 그는 꿈 같이 지나가니 다시 찾을 수 없을 것이요 밤에 보이던 幻像(환상)처럼 쫓겨가리니
  4. 그를 본 눈이 다시 그를 보지 못할 것이요 그의 處所(처소)도 다시 그를 보지 못할 것이며
  5. 그의 子女(자녀)들이 가난한 者(자)에게 恩惠(은혜)를 求(구)하겠고 그도 얻은 財物(재물)을 自己(자기) 손으로 도로 줄 것이며

  1. Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
  2. Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?
  3. He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
  4. The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
  5. His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.
  1. Though his pride reaches to the heavens and his head touches the clouds,
  2. he will perish forever, like his own dung; those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
  3. Like a dream he flies away, no more to be found, banished like a vision of the night.
  4. The eye that saw him will not see him again; his place will look on him no more.
  5. His children must make amends to the poor; his own hands must give back his wealth.
  1. 그 氣骨(기골)이 靑年(청년) 같이 强壯(강장)하나 그 氣勢(기세)가 그와 함께 흙에 누우리라
  2. 그는 비록 惡(악)을 달게 여겨 혀 밑에 감추며
  3. 아껴서 버리지 아니하고 입에 물고 있을지라도
  4. 그 植物(식물)이 창자 속에서 變(변)하며 뱃속에서 毒蛇(독사)의 쓸개가 되느니라
  5. 그가 財物(재물)을 삼켰을지라도 다시 吐(토)할 것은 하나님이 그 배에서 도로 나오게 하심이니

  1. His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.
  2. Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
  3. Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
  4. Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
  5. He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
  1. The youthful vigor that fills his bones will lie with him in the dust.
  2. "Though evil is sweet in his mouth and he hides it under his tongue,
  3. though he cannot bear to let it go and keeps it in his mouth,
  4. yet his food will turn sour in his stomach; it will become the venom of serpents within him.
  5. He will spit out the riches he swallowed; God will make his stomach vomit them up.
  1. 그가 毒蛇(독사)의 毒(독)을 빨며 뱀의 혀에 죽을 것이라
  2. 그는 江(강) 곧 꿀과 엉긴 젖이 흐르는 江(강)을 보지 못할 것이요
  3. 受苦(수고)하여 얻은 것을 도로 주고 삼키지 못할 것이며 賣買(매매)하여 얻은 財物(재물)로 즐거워하지 못하리니
  4. 이는 그가 가난한 者(자)를 虐待(학대)하고 버림이요 自己(자기)가 세우지 않은 집을 빼앗음이니라
  5. 그는 마음에 足(족)한 줄을 알지 못하니 그 기뻐하는 것을 하나도 保存(보존)치 못하겠고

  1. He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.
  2. He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
  3. That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
  4. Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
  5. Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
  1. He will suck the poison of serpents; the fangs of an adder will kill him.
  2. He will not enjoy the streams, the rivers flowing with honey and cream.
  3. What he toiled for he must give back uneaten; he will not enjoy the profit from his trading.
  4. For he has oppressed the poor and left them destitute; he has seized houses he did not build.
  5. "Surely he will have no respite from his craving; he cannot save himself by his treasure.
  1. 남긴 것이 없이 沒收(몰수)히 먹으니 그런즉 그 亨通(형통)함이 오래지 못할 것이라
  2. 豊足(풍족)할 때에도 困厄(곤액)이 이르리니 모든 苦痛(고통)하는 者(자)의 손이 그에게 닿으리라
  3. 그가 배를 불리려 할 때에 하나님이 猛烈(맹렬)한 震怒(진노)를 내리시리니 밥 먹을 때에 그의 위에 비같이 쏟으시리라
  4. 그가 鐵兵器(철병기)를 避(피)할 때에는 놋활이 쏘아 꿸 것이요
  5. 몸에서 그 살을 빼어 낸즉 번쩍번쩍하는 촉이 그 쓸개에서 나오고 큰 두려움이 그에게 臨(임)하느니라

  1. There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
  2. In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
  3. When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
  4. He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
  5. It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
  1. Nothing is left for him to devour; his prosperity will not endure.
  2. In the midst of his plenty, distress will overtake him; the full force of misery will come upon him.
  3. When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows upon him.
  4. Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.
  5. He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him;
  1. 모든 캄캄한 것이 그의 寶物(보물)을 爲(위)하여 쌓이고 사람이 피우지 않은 불이 그를 滅(멸)하며 그 帳幕(장막)에 남은 것을 사르리라
  2. 하늘이 그의 罪惡(죄악)을 드러낼 것이요 땅이 일어나 그를 칠 것인즉
  3. 그 家産(가산)이 敗(패)하여 하나님의 震怒(진노)하시는 날에 흘러가리니
  4. 이는 惡人(악인)이 하나님께 받을 분깃이요 하나님이 그에게 定(정)하신 産業(산업)이니라

  1. All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
  2. The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
  3. The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
  4. This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
  1. total darkness lies in wait for his treasures. A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.
  2. The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.
  3. A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God's wrath.
  4. Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God."
