  1. 그러나 이제는 나보다 젊은 者(자)들이 나를 譏弄(기롱)하는구나 그들의 아비들은 나의 보기에 나의 羊(양)떼 지키는 개 中(중)에도 둘만하지 못한 者(자)니라
  2. 그들은 壯年(장년)의 氣力(기력)이 衰(쇠)한 者(자)니 그 손의 힘이 내게 무엇이 有益(유익)하랴
  3. 그들은 곧 窮乏(궁핍)과 饑饉(기근)으로 파리하매 캄캄하고 거친 들에서 마른 흙을 씹으며
  4. 떨기나무 가운데서 짠 나물도 꺾으며 대싸리 뿌리로 植物(식물)을 삼느니라
  5. 무리는 盜賊(도적)을 외침 같이 그들에게 소리지름으로 그들은 사람 가운데서 쫓겨나서

  1. But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
  2. Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?
  3. For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.
  4. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
  5. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
  1. "But now they mock me, men younger than I, whose fathers I would have disdained to put with my sheep dogs.
  2. Of what use was the strength of their hands to me, since their vigor had gone from them?
  3. Haggard from want and hunger, they roamed the parched land in desolate wastelands at night.
  4. In the brush they gathered salt herbs, and their food was the root of the broom tree.
  5. They were banished from their fellow men, shouted at as if they were thieves.
  1. 침침한 골짜기와 구덩이와 바위 구멍에서 살며
  2. 떨기나무 가운데서 나귀처럼 부르짖으며 가시나무 아래 모여 있느니라
  3. 그들은 本來(본래) 미련한 者(자)의 子息(자식)이요 卑賤(비천)한 者(자)의 子息(자식)으로서 故土(고토)에서 쫓겨난 者(자)니라
  4. 이제는 내가 그들의 노래가 되며 그들의 嘲弄(조롱)거리가 되었고
  5. 그들은 나를 미워하여 멀리하고 내 얼굴에 침 뱉기를 躊躇(주저)하지 아니하나니

  1. To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
  2. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
  3. They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
  4. And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
  5. They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
  1. They were forced to live in the dry stream beds, among the rocks and in holes in the ground.
  2. They brayed among the bushes and huddled in the undergrowth.
  3. A base and nameless brood, they were driven out of the land.
  4. "And now their sons mock me in song; I have become a byword among them.
  5. They detest me and keep their distance; they do not hesitate to spit in my face.
  1. 이는 하나님이 내 줄을 늘어지게 하시고 나를 困苦(곤고)케 하시매 무리가 내 앞에서 굴레를 벗었음이니라
  2. 그 낮은 무리가 내 右便(우편)에서 일어나 내 발을 밀뜨리고 나를 對敵(대적)하여 滅亡(멸망)시킬 길을 쌓으며
  3. 도울 者(자) 없는 그들이 내 길을 헐고 내 災殃(재앙)을 재촉하는구나
  4. 城(성)을 크게 破壞(파괴)하고 그 破壞(파괴)한 가운데로 몰려 들어 오는것 같이 그들이 내게로 달려드니
  5. 놀람이 내게 臨(임)하는구나 그들이 내 榮光(영광)을 바람 같이 모니 내 福祿(복록)이 구름 같이 지나갔구나

  1. Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
  2. Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
  3. They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
  4. They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
  5. Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
  1. Now that God has unstrung my bow and afflicted me, they throw off restraint in my presence.
  2. On my right the tribe attacks; they lay snares for my feet, they build their siege ramps against me.
  3. They break up my road; they succeed in destroying me--without anyone's helping them.
  4. They advance as through a gaping breach; amid the ruins they come rolling in.
  5. Terrors overwhelm me; my dignity is driven away as by the wind, my safety vanishes like a cloud.
  1. 이제는 내 마음이 내 속에서 녹으니 患難(환난)날이 나를 잡음이라
  2. 밤이 되면 내 뼈가 쑤시니 나의 몸에 아픔이 쉬지 아니하는구나
  3. 하나님의 큰 能力(능력)으로 하여 옷이 醜(추)하여져서 옷깃처럼 내 몸에 붙었구나
  4. 하나님이 나를 진흙 가운데 던지셨고 나로 티끌과 재같게 하셨구나
  5. 내가 主(주)께 부르짖으오나 主(주)께서 對答(대답)지 아니하시오며 내가 섰사오나 主(주)께서 굽어보시기만 하시나이다

  1. And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
  2. My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
  3. By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
  4. He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
  5. I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
  1. "And now my life ebbs away; days of suffering grip me.
  2. Night pierces my bones; my gnawing pains never rest.
  3. In his great power God becomes like clothing to me; he binds me like the neck of my garment.
  4. He throws me into the mud, and I am reduced to dust and ashes.
  5. "I cry out to you, O God, but you do not answer; I stand up, but you merely look at me.
  1. 主(주)께서 돌이켜 내게 殘酷(잔혹)히 하시고 腕力(완력)으로 나를 逼迫(핍박)하시오며
  2. 나를 바람 위에 들어 얹어 불려가게 하시며 大風(대풍) 中(중)에 消滅(소멸)케 하시나이다
  3. 내가 아나이다 主(주)께서 나를 죽게 하사 모든 生物(생물)을 爲(위)하여 定(정)한 집으로 끌어 가시리이다
  4. 그러나 사람이 넘어질 때에 어찌 손을 펴지 아니하며 災殃(재앙)을 當(당)할 때에 어찌 도움을 부르짖지 아니하겠는가
  5. 苦生(고생)의 날 보내는 者(자)를 爲(위)하여 내가 울지 아니하였는가 貧窮(빈궁)한 者(자)를 爲(위)하여 내 마음에 근심하지 아니하였는가

  1. Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.
  2. Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
  3. For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.
  4. Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
  5. Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
  1. You turn on me ruthlessly; with the might of your hand you attack me.
  2. You snatch me up and drive me before the wind; you toss me about in the storm.
  3. I know you will bring me down to death, to the place appointed for all the living.
  4. "Surely no one lays a hand on a broken man when he cries for help in his distress.
  5. Have I not wept for those in trouble? Has not my soul grieved for the poor?
  1. 내가 福(복)을 바랐더니 禍(화)가 왔고 光明(광명)을 기다렸더니 黑暗(흑암)이 왔구나
  2. 내 마음이 어지러워서 쉬지 못하는구나 患難(환난) 날이 내게 臨(임)하였구나
  3. 나는 햇볕에 쬐지 않고 검어진 살을 가지고 걸으며 公會(공회) 中(중)에 서서 도움을 부르짖고 있느니라
  4. 나는 이리의 兄弟(형제)요 駝鳥(타조)의 벗이로구나
  5. 가죽은 검어져서 떨어졌고 내 뼈는 熱氣(열기)로 하여 탔구나

  1. When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
  2. My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

  4. I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
  5. My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.
  1. Yet when I hoped for good, evil came; when I looked for light, then came darkness.
  2. The churning inside me never stops; days of suffering confront me.
  3. I go about blackened, but not by the sun; I stand up in the assembly and cry for help.
  4. I have become a brother of jackals, a companion of owls.
  5. My skin grows black and peels; my body burns with fever.
  1. 竪琴(수금)은 哀哭聲(애곡성)이 되고 내 피리는 哀痛聲(애통성)이 되었구나
