  1. 마음의 經營(경영)은 사람에게 있어도 말의 應答(응답)은 여호와께로서 나느니라
  2. 사람의 行爲(행위)가 自己(자기) 보기에는 모두 깨끗하여도 여호와는 心靈(심령)을 監察(감찰)하시느니라
  3. 너의 行事(행사)를 여호와께 맡기라 그리하면 너의 經營(경영)하는 것이 이루리라
  4. 여호와께서 온갖 것을 그 씌움에 適當(적당)하게 지으셨나니 惡人(악인)도 惡(악)한 날에 適當(적당)하게 하셨느니라
  5. 무릇 마음이 驕慢(교만)한 者(자)를 여호와께서 미워하시나니 彼此(피차) 손을 잡을지라도 罰(벌)을 免(면)치 못하리라

  1. The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
  2. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
  3. Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
  4. The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
  5. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
  1. To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.
  2. All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD.
  3. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
  4. The LORD works out everything for his own ends--even the wicked for a day of disaster.
  5. The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.
  1. 仁慈(인자)와 眞理(진리)로 因(인)하여 罪惡(죄악)이 贖(속)하게 되고 여호와를 敬畏(경외)함으로 因(인)하여 惡(악)에서 떠나게 되느니라
  2. 사람의 行爲(행위)가 여호와를 기쁘시게 하면 그 사람의 怨讐(원수)라도 그로 더불어 和睦(화목)하게 하시느니라
  3. 적은 所得(소득)이 義(의)를 兼(겸)하면 많은 所得(소득)이 不義(불의)를 兼(겸)한 것보다 나으니라
  4. 사람이 마음으로 自己(자기)의 길을 計劃(계획)할지라도 그 걸음을 引導(인도)하는 者(자)는 여호와시니라
  5. 하나님의 말씀이 王(왕)의 입술에 있은즉 裁判(재판)할 때에 그 입이 그릇하지 아니하리라

  1. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.
  2. When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
  3. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
  4. A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
  5. A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
  1. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.
  2. When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
  3. Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.
  4. In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
  5. The lips of a king speak as an oracle, and his mouth should not betray justice.
  1. 公平(공평)한 桿稱(간칭)과 皿稱(명칭)은 여호와의 것이요 주머니 속의 錘(추)돌들도 다 그의 지으신 것이니라
  2. 惡(악)을 行(행)하는 것은 王(왕)의 미워할 바니 이는 그 寶座(보좌)가 公義(공의)로 말미암아 굳게 섬이니라
  3. 義(의)로운 입술은 王(왕)들의 기뻐하는 것이요 正直(정직)히 말하는 者(자)는 그들의 사랑을 입느니라
  4. 王(왕)의 震怒(진노)는 殺戮(살륙)의 使者(사자)와 같아도 智慧(지혜)로운 사람은 그것을 쉬게 하리라
  5. 王(왕)의 喜色(희색)에 生命(생명)이 있나니 그 恩澤(은택)이 늦은 비를 내리는 구름과 같으니라

  1. A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
  2. It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
  3. Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
  4. The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
  5. In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
  1. Honest scales and balances are from the LORD; all the weights in the bag are of his making.
  2. Kings detest wrongdoing, for a throne is established through righteousness.
  3. Kings take pleasure in honest lips; they value a man who speaks the truth.
  4. A king's wrath is a messenger of death, but a wise man will appease it.
  5. When a king's face brightens, it means life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring.
  1. 智慧(지혜)를 얻는 것이 金(금)을 얻는 것보다 얼마나 나은고 明哲(명철)을 얻는 것이 銀(은)을 얻는 것보다 더욱 나으니라
  2. 惡(악)을 떠나는 것은 正直(정직)한 사람의 大路(대로)니 그 길을 지키는 者(자)는 自己(자기)의 靈魂(령혼)을 保全(보전)하느니라
  3. 驕慢(교만)은 敗亡(패망)의 先鋒(선봉)이요 倨慢(거만)한 마음은 넘어짐의 앞잡이니라
  4. 謙遜(겸손)한 者(자)와 함께하여 마음을 낮추는 것이 驕慢(교만)한 者(자)와 함께 하여 奪取物(탈취물)을 나누는 것보다 나으니라
  5. 삼가 말씀에 注意(주의)하는 者(자)는 좋은 것을 얻나니 여호와를 依支(의지)하는 者(자)가 福(복)이 있느니라

  1. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
  2. The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
  3. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
  4. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
  5. He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
  1. How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!
  2. The highway of the upright avoids evil; he who guards his way guards his life.
  3. Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
  4. Better to be lowly in spirit and among the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud.
  5. Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
  1. 마음이 智慧(지혜)로운 者(자)가 明哲(명철)하다 일컬음을 받고 입이 善(선)한 者(자)가 남의 學識(학식)을 더하게 하느니라
  2. 明哲(명철)한 者(자)에게는 그 明哲(명철)이 生命(생명)의 샘이 되거니와 미련한 者(자)에게는 그 미련한 것이 懲戒(징계)가 되느니라
  3. 智慧(지혜)로운 者(자)의 마음은 그 입을 슬기롭게 하고 또 그 입술에 知識(지식)을 더하느니라
  4. 善(선)한 말은 꿀송이 같아서 마음에 달고 뼈에 良藥(량약)이 되느니라
  5. 어떤 길은 사람의 보기에 바르나 畢竟(필경)은 死亡(사망)의 길이니라

  1. The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
  2. Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
  3. The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
  4. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
  5. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
  1. The wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant words promote instruction.
  2. Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it, but folly brings punishment to fools.
  3. A wise man's heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction.
  4. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
  5. There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
  1. 努力(노력)하는 者(자)는 食慾(식욕)을 因(인)하여 애쓰나니 이는 그 입이 自己(자기)를 督促(독촉)함이니라
  2. 不良(불량)한 者(자)는 惡(악)을 꾀하나니 그 입술에는 猛烈(맹렬)한 불같은 것이 있느니라
  3. 悖戾(패려)한 者(자)는 다툼을 일으키고 말장이는 親(친)한 벗을 離間(리간)하느니라
  4. 强暴(강포)한 사람은 그 이웃을 꾀어 不善(불선)한 길로 引導(인도)하느니라
  5. 눈을 감는 者(자)는 悖逆(패역)한 일을 圖謀(도모)하며 입술을 닫는 者(자)는 惡(악)한 일을 이루느니라

  1. He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
  2. An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
  3. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
  4. A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
  5. He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
  1. The laborer's appetite works for him; his hunger drives him on.
  2. A scoundrel plots evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire.
  3. A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.
  4. A violent man entices his neighbor and leads him down a path that is not good.
  5. He who winks with his eye is plotting perversity; he who purses his lips is bent on evil.
  1. 白髮(백발)은 榮華(영화)의 冕旒冠(면류관)이라 義(의)로운 길에서 얻으리라
  2. 怒(노)하기를 더디하는 者(자)는 勇士(용사)보다 낫고 自己(자기)의 마음을 다스리는 者(자)는 城(성)을 빼앗는 者(자)보다 나으니라
  3. 사람이 제비는 뽑으나 일을 作定(작정)하기는 여호와께 있느니라

  1. The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
  2. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
  3. The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.
  1. Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life.
  2. Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.
  3. The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.
