  1. 무리가 다 일어나 예수를 빌라도에게 끌고 가서
  2. 告訴(고소)하여 가로되 우리가 이 사람을 보매 우리 百姓(백성)을 迷惑(미혹)하고 가이사에게 稅(세) 바치는 것을 禁(금)하며 自稱(자칭) 王(왕) 그리스도라 하더이다 하니
  3. 빌라도가 예수께 물어 가로되 네가 유대인의 王(왕)이냐 對答(대답)하여 가라사대 네 말이 옳도다
  4. 빌라도가 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 무리에게 이르되 내가 보니 이 사람에게 罪(죄)가 없도다 하니
  5. 무리가 더욱 굳세게 말하되 저가 온 유대에서 가르치고 갈릴리에서부터 始作(시작)하여 여기까지 와서 百姓(백성)을 騷動(소동)케 하나이다

  1. And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.
  2. And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
  3. And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
  4. Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
  5. And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
  1. Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate.
  2. And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king."
  3. So Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied.
  4. Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no basis for a charge against this man."
  5. But they insisted, "He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here."
  1. 빌라도가 듣고 묻되 저가 갈릴리 사람이냐 하여
  2. 헤롯의 管轄(관할)에 屬(속)한 줄을 알고 헤롯에게 보내니 때에 헤롯이 예루살렘에 있더라
  3. 헤롯이 예수를 보고 甚(심)히 기뻐하니 이는 그의 所聞(소문)을 들었으므로 보고자 한 지 오래였고 또한 무엇이나 異蹟(이적) 行(행)하심을 볼까 바랐던 緣故(연고)러라
  4. 여러 말로 물으나 아무 말도 對答(대답)지 아니하시니
  5. 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 書記官(서기관)들이 서서 힘써 告訴(고소)하더라

  1. When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
  2. And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
  3. And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
  4. Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.
  5. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
  1. On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean.
  2. When he learned that Jesus was under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.
  3. When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform some miracle.
  4. He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.
  5. The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him.
  1. 헤롯이 그 軍兵(군병)들과 함께 예수를 업신여기며 戱弄(희롱)하고 빛난 옷을 입혀 빌라도에게 도로 보내니
  2. 헤롯과 빌라도가 前(전)에는 怨讐(원수)이었으나 當日(당일)에 서로 親舊(친구)가 되니라
  3. 빌라도가 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 官員(관원)들과 百姓(백성)을 불러 모으고
  4. 이르되 너희가 이 사람을 百姓(백성)을 迷惑(미혹)하는 者(자)라 하여 내게 끌어왔도다 보라, 내가 너희 앞에서 事實(사실)하였으되 너희의 告訴(고소)하는 일에 對(대)하여 이 사람에게 罪(죄)를 찾지 못하였고
  5. 헤롯이 또한 그렇게 하여 저를 우리에게 도로 보내었도다 보라, 저의 行(행)한 것은 죽일 일이 없느니라

  1. And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.
  2. And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
  3. And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
  4. Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
  5. No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.
  1. Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate.
  2. That day Herod and Pilate became friends--before this they had been enemies.
  3. Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers and the people,
  4. and said to them, "You brought me this man as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him.
  5. Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death.

  5. 빌라도는 예수를 놓고자 하여 다시 저희에게 말하되

  1. I will therefore chastise him, and release him.
  2. (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)
  3. And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:
  4. (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)
  5. Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.
  1. Therefore, I will punish him and then release him."

  2. With one voice they cried out, "Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us!"
  3. (Barabbas had been thrown into prison for an insurrection in the city, and for murder.)
  4. Wanting to release Jesus, Pilate appealed to them again.
  1. 저희는 소리질러 가로되 저를 十字架(십자가)에 못박게 하소서 十字架(십자가)에 못박게 하소서 하는지라
  2. 빌라도가 세 번째 말하되 이 사람이 무슨 惡(악)한 일을 하였느냐 나는 그 죽일 罪(죄)를 찾지 못하였나니 때려서 놓으리라한대
  3. 저희가 큰 소리로 재촉하여 十字架(십자가)에 못 박기를 求(구)하니 저희의 소리가 이긴지라
  4. 이에 빌라도가 저희의 求(구)하는 대로 하기를 言渡(언도)하고
  5. 저희의 求(구)하는 者(자) 곧 民亂(민란)과 殺人(살인)을 因(인)하여 獄(옥)에 갇힌 者(자)를 놓고 예수를 넘겨 주어 저희 뜻대로 하게 하니라

  1. But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
  2. And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.
  3. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
  4. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
  5. And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
  1. But they kept shouting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"
  2. For the third time he spoke to them: "Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him."
  3. But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed.
  4. So Pilate decided to grant their demand.
  5. He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.
  1. 저희가 예수를 끌고 갈 때에 시몬이라는 구레네 사람이 시골로서 오는 것을 잡아 그에게 十字架(십자가)를 지워 예수를 좇게 하더라
  2. 또 百姓(백성)과 및 그를 爲(위)하여 가슴을 치며 슬피 우는 女子(녀자)의 큰 무리가 따라 오는지라
  3. 예수께서 돌이켜 그들을 向(향)하여 가라사대 예루살렘의 딸들아 나를 爲(위)하여 울지 말고 너희와 너희 子女(자녀)를 爲(위)하여 울라
  4. 보라, 날이 이르면 사람이 말하기를 受胎(수태) 못하는 이와 解産(해산)하지 못한 배와 먹이지 못한 젖이 福(복)이 있다 하리라
  5. 그 때에 사람이 山(산)들을 對(대)하여 우리 위에 무너지라 하며 작은 山(산)들을 對(대)하여 우리를 덮으라 하리라

  1. And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
  2. And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
  3. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
  4. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
  5. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
  1. As they led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.
  2. A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him.
  3. Jesus turned and said to them, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.
  4. For the time will come when you will say, 'Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!'
  5. Then "'they will say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" '
  1. 푸른 나무에도 이같이 하거든 마른 나무에는 어떻게 되리요 하시니라
  2. 다른 두 行惡者(행악자)도 死刑(사형)을 받게 되어 예수와 함께 끌려 가니라
  3. 骸骨(해골)이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 十字架(십자가)에 못 박고 두 行惡者(행악자)도 그렇게 하니 하나는 右便(우편)에 하나는 左便(좌편)에 있더라
  4. 이에 예수께서 가라사대 아버지여 저희를 赦(사)하여 주옵소서 自己(자기)의 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라 저희가 그의 옷을 나눠 제비 뽑을쌔
  5. 百姓(백성)은 서서 구경하며 官員(관원)들도 비웃어 가로되 저가 남을 救援(구원)하였으니 萬一(만일) 하나님의 擇(택)하신 者(자) 그리스도여든 自己(자기)도 救援(구원)할지어다하고

  1. For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
  2. And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
  3. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
  4. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
  5. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
  1. For if men do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?"
  2. Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.
  3. When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left.
  4. Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
  5. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One."

  5. 하나는 그 사람을 꾸짖어 가로되 네가 同一(동일)한 定罪(정죄)를 받고서도 하나님을 두려워 아니하느냐

  1. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,
  2. And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
  3. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
  4. And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
  5. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
  1. The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar
  2. and said, "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself."
  3. There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
  4. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
  5. But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?
  1. 우리는 우리의 行(행)한 일에 相當(상당)한 報應(보응)을 받는 것이니 이에 當然(당연)하거니와 이 사람의 行(행)한 것은 옳지 않은 것이 없느니라 하고
  2. 가로되 예수여 當身(당신)의 나라에 臨(임)하실 때에 나를 생각하소서 하니
  3. 예수께서 이르시되 내가 眞實(진실)로 네게 이르노니 오늘 네가 나와 함께 樂園(낙원)에 있으리라 하시니라
  4. 때가 第(제) 六時(육시)쯤 되어 해가 빛을 잃고 온 땅에 어두움이 臨(임)하여 第(제) 九時(구시)까지 繼續(계속)하며

  1. And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

  1. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
  2. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
  3. And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
  4. And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.
  5. And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
  1. Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.
  2. The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, "Surely this was a righteous man."
  3. When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away.
  4. But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
  5. Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man,

  5. 갈릴리에서 예수와 함께 온 女子(녀자)들이 뒤를 좇아 그 무덤과 그의 屍體(시체)를 어떻게 둔 것을 보고

  1. (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God. of them;)
  2. This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
  3. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
  4. And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.
  5. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
  1. who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea and he was waiting for the kingdom of God.
  2. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body.
  3. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid.
  4. It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.
  5. The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
  1. 돌아가 香品(향품)과 香油(향유)를 豫備(예비)하더라 誡命(계명)을 좇아 安息日(안식일)에 쉬더라
