  1. 예수께서 이 말씀을 다 마치시고 弟子(제자)들에게 이르시되
  2. 너희의 아는 바와 같이 이틀을 지나면 逾越節(유월절)이라 人子(인자)가 十字架(십자가)에 못 박히기 爲(위)하여 팔리우리라 하시더라
  3. 그 때에 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 百姓(백성)의 長老(장로)들이 가야바라 하는 大祭司長(대제사장)의 衙門(아문)에 모여
  4. 예수를 詭計(궤계)로 잡아 죽이려고 議論(의논)하되
  5. 말하기를 民擾(민요)가 날까 하노니 名節(명절)에는 말자 하더라

  1. And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
  2. Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
  3. Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
  4. And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
  5. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
  1. When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
  2. "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
  3. Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
  4. and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill him.
  5. "But not during the Feast," they said, "or there may be a riot among the people."
  1. 예수께서 베다니 문둥이 시몬의 집에 계실 때에
  2. 한 女子(녀자)가 매우 貴(귀)한 香油(향유) 한 玉盒(옥합)을 가지고 나아와서 食事(식사)하시는 예수의 머리에 부으니
  3. 弟子(제자)들이 보고 憤(분)하여 가로되 무슨 意思(의사)로 이것을 虛費(허비)하느뇨
  4. 이것을 많은 값에 팔아 가난한 者(자)들에게 줄 수 있었겠도다 하거늘
  5. 예수께서 아시고 저희에게 이르시되 너희가 어찌하여 이 女子(녀자)를 괴롭게 하느냐 저가 내게 좋은 일을 하였느니라

  1. Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
  2. There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.
  3. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
  4. For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
  5. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
  1. While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper,
  2. a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
  3. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked.
  4. "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
  5. Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

  1. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
  2. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
  3. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.
  4. Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
  5. And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
  1. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.
  2. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
  3. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
  4. Then one of the Twelve--the one called Judas Iscariot--went to the chief priests
  5. and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.

  1. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
  2. Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
  3. And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
  4. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
  5. Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
  1. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.
  2. On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?"
  3. He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.'"
  4. So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
  5. When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve.
  1. 저희가 먹을 때에 이르시되 내가 眞實(진실)로 너희에게 이르노니 너희 中(중)에 한 사람이 나를 팔리라 하시니

  4. 人子(인자)는 自己(자기)에게 對(대)하여 記錄(기록)된대로 가거니와 人子(인자)를 파는 그 사람에게는 禍(화)가 있으리로다 그 사람은 차라리 나지 아니하였더면 제게 좋을 뻔하였느니라

  1. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
  2. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
  3. And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.
  4. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
  5. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
  1. And while they were eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me."
  2. They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, "Surely not I, Lord?"
  3. Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.
  4. The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."
  5. Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."
  1. 저희가 먹을 때에 예수께서 떡을 가지사 祝福(축복)하시고 떼어 弟子(제자)들을 주시며 가라사대 받아 먹으라 이것이 내 몸이니라 하시고
  2. 또 盞(잔)을 가지사 謝禮(사례)하시고 저희에게 주시며 가라사대 너희가 다 이것을 마시라
  3. 이것은 罪(죄) 赦(사)함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 爲(위)하여 흘리는 바 나의 피 곧 言約(언약)의 피니라

  1. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
  2. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
  3. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
  4. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
  5. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
  1. While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."
  2. Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
  3. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
  4. I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom."
  5. When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
  1. 때에 예수께서 弟子(제자)들에게 이르시되 오늘 밤에 너희가 다 나를 버리리라 記錄(기록)된 바 내가 牧者(목자)를 치리니 羊(양)의 떼가 흩어지리라 하였느니라
  2. 그러나 내가 살아난 後(후)에 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 가리라
  3. 베드로가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 다 主(주)를 버릴지라도 나는 언제든지 버리지 않겠나이다

  1. Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
  2. But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
  3. Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.
  4. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
  5. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
  1. Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: "'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
  2. But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
  3. Peter replied, "Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will."
  4. "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times."
  5. But Peter declared, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the other disciples said the same.
  1. 이에 예수께서 弟子(제자)들과 함께 겟세마네라 하는 곳에 이르러 弟子(제자)들에게 이르시되 내가 저기 가서 祈禱(기도)할 동안에 너희는 여기 앉아 있으라 하시고
  2. 베드로와 세베대의 두 아들을 데리고 가실새 苦悶(고민)하고 슬퍼하사
  3. 이에 말씀하시되 내 마음이 甚(심)히 苦悶(고민)하여 죽게 되었으니 너희는 여기 머물러 나와 함께 깨어 있으라 하시고

  1. Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
  2. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
  3. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
  4. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
  5. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
  1. Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."
  2. He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.
  3. Then he said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me."
  4. Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
  5. Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter.
  1. 試驗(시험)에 들지 않게 깨어 있어 祈禱(기도)하라 마음에는 願(원)이로되 肉身(육신)이 弱(약)하도다 하시고

  1. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  2. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
  3. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
  4. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
  5. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
  1. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
  2. He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."
  3. When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.
  4. So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
  5. Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
  1. 일어나라 함께 가자 보라, 나를 파는 者(자)가 가까이 왔느니라
  2. 말씀하실 때에 열 둘 中(중)에 하나인 유다가 왔는데 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 百姓(백성)의 長老(장로)들에게서 派送(파송)된 큰 무리가 劍(검)과 몽치를 가지고 그와 함께 하였더라
  3. 예수를 파는 者(자)가 그들에게 軍號(군호)를 짜 가로되 내가 입맞추는 者(자)가 그이니 그를 잡으라 하였는지라
  4. 곧 예수께 나아와 랍비여 安寧(안녕)하시옵니까 하고 입을 맞추니
  5. 예수께서 가라사대 親舊(친구)여 네가 무엇을 하려고 왔는지 行(행)하라 하신대 이에 저희가 나아와 예수께 손을 대어 잡는지라

  1. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
  2. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
  3. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
  4. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
  5. And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.
  1. Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"
  2. While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people.
  3. Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him."
  4. Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him.
  5. Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for."Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
  1. 예수와 함께 있던 者(자) 中(중)에 하나가 손을 펴 劍(검)을 빼어 大祭司長(대제사장)의 종을 쳐 그 귀를 떨어뜨리니
  2. 이에 예수께서 이르시되 네 劍(검)을 도로 집에 꽂으라 劍(검)을 가지는 者(자)는 다 劍(검)으로 亡(망)하느니라
  3. 너는 내가 내 아버지께 求(구)하여 지금 열 두 營(영) 더 되는 天使(천사)를 보내시게 할 수 없는 줄로 아느냐
  4. 내가 萬一(만일) 그렇게 하면 이런 일이 있으리라 한 聖經(성경)이 어떻게 이루어지리요 하시더라
  5. 그 때에 예수께서 무리에게 말씀하시되 너희가 强盜(강도)를 잡는 것같이 劍(검)과 몽치를 가지고 나를 잡으러 나왔느냐 내가 날마다 聖殿(성전)에 앉아 가르쳤으되 너희가 나를 잡지 아니하였도다

  1. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
  2. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
  3. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
  4. But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
  5. In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
  1. With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.
  2. "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
  3. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
  4. But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
  5. At that time Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me.
  1. 그러나 이렇게 된 것은 다 先知者(선지자)들의 글을 이루려 함이니라 하시더라 이에 弟子(제자)들이 다 예수를 버리고 逃亡(도망)하니라
  2. 예수를 잡은 者(자)들이 끌고 大祭司長(대제사장) 가야바에게로 가니 거기 書記官(서기관)과 長老(장로)들이 모여 있더라
  3. 베드로가 멀찍이 예수를 좇아 大祭司長(대제사장)의 집 뜰에까지 가서 그 結局(결국)을 보려고 안에 들어가 下屬(하속)들과 함께 앉았더라
  4. 大祭司長(대제사장)들과 온 公會(공회)가 예수를 죽이려고 그를 칠 거짓 證據(증거)를 찾으매
  5. 거짓 證人(증인)이 많이 왔으나 얻지 못하더니 後(후)에 두 사람이 와서

  1. But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
  2. And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
  3. But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.
  4. Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought FALSE witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
  5. But found none: yea, though many FALSE witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two FALSE witnesses,
  1. But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.
  2. Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.
  3. But Peter followed him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. He entered and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.
  4. The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.
  5. But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward
  1. 가로되 이 사람의 말이 내가 하나님의 聖殿(성전)을 헐고 사흘에 지을 수 있다 하더라 하니
  2. 大祭司長(대제사장)이 일어서서 예수께 묻되 아무 對答(대답)도 없느냐 이 사람들의 너를 치는 證據(증거)가 어떠하뇨 하되
  3. 예수께서 潛潛(잠잠)하시거늘 大祭司長(대제사장)이 가로되 내가 너로 살아 계신 하나님께 盟誓(맹서)하게 하노니 네가 하나님의 아들 그리스도인지 우리에게 말하라
  4. 예수께서 가라사대 네가 말하였느니라 그러나 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이 後(후)에 人子(인자)가 權能(권능)의 右便(우편)에 앉은 것과 하늘 구름을 타고 오는 것을 너희가 보리라 하시니
  5. 이에 大祭司長(대제사장)이 自己(자기) 옷을 찢으며 가로되 저가 僭濫(참람)한 말을 하였으니 어찌 더 證人(증인)을 要求(요구)하리요 보라 너희가 지금 이 僭濫(참람)한 말을 들었도다

  1. And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
  2. And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
  3. But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
  4. Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
  5. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
  1. and declared, "This fellow said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.'"
  2. Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?"
  3. But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
  4. "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
  5. Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
  1. 생각이 어떠하뇨 對答(대답)하여 가로되 저는 死刑(사형)에 該當(해당)하니라 하고
  2. 이에 예수의 얼굴에 침 뱉으며 주먹으로 치고 或(혹)은 손바닥으로 때리며
  3. 가로되 그리스도야 우리에게 先知者(선지자) 노릇을 하라 너를 친 者(자)가 누구냐 하더라
  4. 베드로가 바깥 뜰에 앉았더니 한 婢子(비자)가 나아와 가로되 너도 갈릴리 사람 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘
  5. 베드로가 모든 사람 앞에서 否認(부인)하여 가로되 나는 네 말하는 것이 무엇인지 알지 못하겠노라 하며

  2. Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him
  3. and said, "Prophesy to us, Christ. Who hit you?"
  4. Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. "You also were with Jesus of Galilee," she said.
  5. But he denied it before them all. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said.
  1. 앞門(문)까지 나아가니 다른 婢子(비자)가 저를 보고 거기 있는 사람들에게 말하되 이 사람은 나사렛 예수와 함께 있었도다 하매

  3. 조금 後(후)에 곁에 섰던 사람들이 나아와 베드로에게 이르되 너도 眞實(진실)로 그 黨(당)이라 네 말소리가 너를 表明(표명)한다 하거늘
  4. 저가 詛呪(저주)하며 盟誓(맹서)하여 가로되 내가 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하니 닭이 곧 울더라
  5. 이에 베드로가 예수의 말씀에 닭 울기 前(전)에 네가 세 번 나를 否認(부인)하리라 하심이 생각나서 밖에 나가서 甚(심)히 痛哭(통곡)하니라

  1. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
  2. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
  3. And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
  4. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
  5. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
  1. Then he went out to the gateway, where another girl saw him and said to the people there, "This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth."
  2. He denied it again, with an oath: "I don't know the man!"
  3. After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, "Surely you are one of them, for your accent gives you away."
  4. Then he began to call down curses on himself and he swore to them, "I don't know the man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
  5. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.
