  1. 아브라함이 後妻(후처)를 取(취)하였으니 그 이름은 그두라라
  2. 그가 시므란과, 욕산과, 므단과, 미디안과, 이스박과, 수아을 낳았고
  3. 욕산과, 스바와, 드단을 낳았으며 드단의 子孫(자손)은 앗수르 族屬(족속)과, 르두시 族屬(족속)과, 르움미 族屬(족속)이며
  4. 미디안의 아들은 에바와, 에벨과, 하녹과, 아비다와, 엘다아니 다 그두라의 子孫(자손)이었더라
  5. 아브라함이 이삭에게 自己(자기) 모든 所有(소유)를 주었고

  1. Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
  2. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
  3. And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
  4. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
  5. And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.
  1. Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah.
  2. She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.
  3. Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan; the descendants of Dedan were the Asshurites, the Letushites and the Leummites.
  4. The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.
  5. Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac.
  1. 自己(자기) 庶子(서자)들에게도 財物(재물)을 주어 自己(자기) 生前(생전)에 그들로 自己(자기) 아들 이삭을 떠나 東方(동방) 곧 東國(동국)으로 가게 하였더라
  2. 아브라함의 享年(향년)이 一百(일백) 七十五歲(칠십오세)라
  3. 그가 壽(수)가 높고 나이 많아 氣運(기운)이 盡(진)하여 죽어 自己(자기) 列祖(열조)에게로 돌아가매
  4. 그 아들 이삭과 이스마엘이 그를 마므레 앞 헷 族屬(족속) 소할의 아들 에브론의 밭에 있는 막벨라 窟(굴)에 葬事(장사) 하였으니
  5. 이것은 아브라함이 헷 族屬(족속)에게서 산 밭이라 아브라함과 그 아내 사라가 거기 葬事(장사)되니라

  1. But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
  2. And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
  3. Then Abraham gave up the Ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
  4. And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
  5. The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
  1. But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the east.
  2. Altogether, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years.
  3. Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.
  4. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite,
  5. the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.

  1. And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.
  2. Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
  3. And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
  4. And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
  5. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
  1. After Abraham's death, God blessed his son Isaac, who then lived near Beer Lahai Roi.
  2. This is the account of Abraham's son Ishmael, whom Sarah's maidservant, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham.
  3. These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
  4. Mishma, Dumah, Massa,
  5. Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah.
  1. 이들은 이스마엘의 아들들이요 그 村(촌)과 部落(부락)대로 된 이름이며 그 族屬(족속)대로는 十二(십이) 方伯(방백)이었더라
  2. 이스마엘은 享年(향년)이 一百(일백) 三十七歲(삼십칠세)에 氣運(기운)이 盡(진)하여 죽어 自己(자기) 列祖(열조)에게로 돌아갔고
  3. 그 子孫(자손)들은 하윌라에서부터 앗수르로 通(통)하는 애굽 앞 술까지 이르러 그 모든 兄弟(형제)의 맞은便(편)에 居(거)하였더라
  4. 아브라함의 아들 이삭의 後裔(후예)는 이러하니라 아브라함이 이삭을 낳았고
  5. 이삭은 四十歲(사십세)에 리브가를 取(취)하여 아내를 삼았으니 리브가는 밧단 아람의 아람 族屬(족속) 中(중) 브두엘의 딸이요 아람 族屬(족속) 中(중) 라반의 누이였더라

  1. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
  2. And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the Ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
  3. And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
  4. And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:
  5. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
  1. These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps.
  2. Altogether, Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people.
  3. His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the border of Egypt, as you go toward Asshur. And they lived in hostility toward all their brothers.
  4. This is the account of Abraham's son Isaac. Abraham became the father of Isaac,
  5. and Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram and sister of Laban the Aramean.
  1. 이삭이 그 아내가 孕胎(잉태)하지 못하므로 그를 爲(위)하여 여호와께 懇求(간구)하매 여호와께서 그 懇求(간구)를 들으셨으므로 그 아내 리브가가 孕胎(잉태)하였더니
  2. 아이들이 그의 胎(태) 속에서 서로 싸우는지라 그가 가로되 이같으면 내가 어찌할꼬 하고 가서 여호와께 묻자온대
  3. 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 두 國民(국민)이 네 胎中(태중)에 있구나 두 民族(민족)이 네 腹中(복중)에서부터 나누이리라 이 族屬(족속)이, 저 族屬(족속)보다 强(강)하겠고 큰 者(자)는 어린 者(자)를 섬기리라 하셨더라
  4. 그 解産(해산) 期限(기한)이 찬즉 胎(태)에 雙童(쌍동)이가 있었는데
  5. 먼저 나온 者(자)는 붉고 全身(전신)이 갖옷 같아서 이름을 에서라 하였고

  1. And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
  2. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the Lord.
  3. And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
  4. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
  5. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
  1. Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
  2. The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, "Why is this happening to me?" So she went to inquire of the LORD.
  3. The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger."
  4. When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.
  5. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.
  1. 後(후)에 나온 아우는 손으로 에서의 발꿈치를 잡았으므로 그 이름을 야곱이라 하였으며 리브가가 그들을 낳을 때에 이삭이 六十歲(육십세)이었더라
  2. 그 아이들이 長成(장성)하매 에서는 익숙한 사냥군인故(고)로 들 사람이 되고 야곱은 從容(종용)한 사람인故(고)로 帳幕(장막)에 居(거)하니
  3. 이삭은 에서의 사냥한 고기를 좋아하므로 그를 사랑하고 리브가는 야곱을 사랑하였더라
  4. 야곱이 粥(죽)을 쑤었더니 에서가 들에서부터 돌아와서 甚(심)히 困憊(곤비)하여
  5. 야곱에게 이르되 내가 困憊(곤비)하니 그 붉은 것을 나로 먹게 하라 한지라 그러므로 에서의 別名(별명)은 에돔이더라

  1. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
  2. And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
  3. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
  4. And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
  5. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
  1. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
  2. The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents.
  3. Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
  4. Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished.
  5. He said to Jacob, "Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I'm famished!" (That is why he was also called Edom.)
  1. 야곱이 가로되 兄(형)의 長子(장자)의 名分(명분)을 오늘날 내게 팔라
  2. 에서가 가로되 내가 죽게 되었으니 이 長子(장자)의 名分(명분)이 내게 무엇이 有益(유익)하리요
  3. 야곱이 가로되 오늘 내게 盟誓(맹서)하라 에서가 盟誓(맹서)하고 長子(장자)의 名分(명분)을 야곱에게 판지라
  4. 야곱이 떡과 팥粥(죽)을 에서에게 주매 에서가 먹으며 마시고 일어나서 갔으니 에서가 長子(장자)의 名分(명분)을 輕忽(경홀)히 여김이었더라

  1. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
  2. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
  3. And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
  4. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
  1. Jacob replied, "First sell me your birthright."
  2. "Look, I am about to die," Esau said. "What good is the birthright to me?"
  3. But Jacob said, "Swear to me first." So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
  4. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.
